About
Built for buyers who value their time
Diligent Path is the due-diligence platform I wished existed when I was evaluating my own deals. So I built it.
Why this exists
Every business buyer I know has the same story: a deal falls through, or closes with a nasty surprise, because something in the data room got missed. A lease clause, a customer concentration, a tax issue — always visible in hindsight, always invisible until it was too late.
The traditional answer is: hire more advisors. Pay $500/hour consultants to read the PDFs you already have. It works — sometimes — but it's slow, expensive, and the reports come back at the exact moment the deal needs to move fastest.
I kept thinking: this is exactly the kind of work AI should do. Reading documents, extracting terms, flagging anomalies, drafting questions — none of that requires human judgment. Humans are needed to decide, not to dig.
So I built Diligent Path. AI agents do the first 80% — reading, classifying, flagging, summarizing. You do the 20% that matters: deciding whether this deal is the one.
How we think about the work
Three principles that shape every feature we ship.
AI augments, not replaces
Every finding cites the source. Every flag is reviewable. You stay in control of every decision — the AI just makes sure nothing gets missed.
Built for real deals
Industry templates, phase-gated workflow, seller-side data rooms — because due diligence happens in the real world, not in a demo.
Your data stays yours
No training on your documents. Tenant isolation by default. Encryption in transit and at rest. The security posture you'd build yourself, already built.
